The pair started touring England on their motorcycles playing 24 acoustic gigs in pubs and other venues on Saturday, May 28 and hope to finish on Saturday, June 25 June.

On Friday they played at the Marina Bar, at Medway Bridge Marina, in Borstal, and yesterday they performed at the Kings Arms in Upnor.

Today their gig is at The Steampacket, in Station Road, Strood.

Mr Banks said: “I decided to take part in this challenge for Alzheimer’s Society because it is such a worthy cause.

“It’s great to think that we are raising funds to help support people to live well with dementia and to fund research to one day find a cure for dementia.”

Jenny Connolly, from the charity added: “It’s great that Toby and Keith are giving their time to support Alzheimer’s Society.

Dementia can happen to anyone and there is currently no cure. But with the right support, people can live well with dementia.

“As a charity, we rely on the generosity of individuals like Toby and Keith to help us continue our vital work so that Alzheimer’s Society can continue leading the fight against dementia.”
