Police were called to an incident

A man has been arrested on suspicion of assault after a fight broke out in Chatham earlier today. 
 
Kent Police were called out to The Brook, near to the Homeplus furniture store, at about 12.05pm to reports of a disturbance.
 
A spokesman for police in Medway said: “It was reported two men were involved in a fight at The Brook. 
 
“One man suffered head injuries and one other – a 25 year old man from Chatham – has been arrested on suspicion of assault and remains in police custody.”
