Police hunt group of youths who stole alcohol from Co-op store in Twydall Green, Gillingham

A group of young shoplifters are being hunted by police after they stole alcohol and other drinks from a Co-op Gillingham.

Police were called to the store in Twydall Green after the teenagers made off with the items.

Officers say they think about seven youths stole the booze from the store shortly before 10pm on Saturday.

A police spokesman said: "It was reported that a quantity of alcohol and soft drinks was stolen by a group of young men between 9.50pm and 9.51pm.

"Enquires into the incident are ongoing."
