Gillingham: Police release CCTV image after Grange Road

Police investigating an assault in Gillingham have issued a CCTV image of a car whose owner they would like to speak to.

A man in his 20s needed hospital treatment after being attacked in Grange Road at around 10.30pm on January 26.

He reported he had been parking his car when he was approached by another man and assaulted through his car window.

Investigating officer detective constable, Terry Hanlon, said: "Since the incident a number of enquiries have been carried out to identify the suspect behind the assault.

"Now we are able to issue CCTV stills of a vehicle, which we believe to be a dark-coloured VW Golf.

“We would like to speak to the owner of this vehicle as they may be able to assist with our investigation."
