Cannabis factory closed after raid on property at St Margaret's Street, Rochester

A police swoop has closed down a cannabis factory.

Officers found the drugs when they raided a property in St Margaret’s Street, Rochester.

They were called out at 2.04pm yesterday.

A 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis.

He remains in custody.

Police returned to the scene today to gather further evidence and remove and destroy the plants.
