Man released from car after crash on Wainscott Bypass

A man in his 30s was released from his car after a crash on the Wainscott Bypass.

Fire and ambulance crews were called to the two-car crash on the Chatham-bound carriageway at around 6.45pm last night.

The man was trapped by his injuries in one of the cars, but was freed and transferred into an ambulance, where he was left in the care of paramedics.
