Strood teen Nicky Tayler in court after Gillingham robbery

A teenger has appeared in court after being charged in connection with a robbery which left two teenagers with head injuries.

Nicky Tayler, 18, is the third person to be charged in connection with the alleged robbery, which happened on the Great Lines, in Gillingham, in the early hours of Sunday, January 20.

The victims were taken to Medway Maritime Hospital at about 1.10am, but were later discharged.

Tayler, of Madhuran Court, London Road, Strood, appeared before magistrates in Medway on Wednesday, but the case against him was adjourned and sent to Maidstone Crown Court.

Two other teenagers were also charged and bailed last week to appear in court later this month.

Thomas Hawkins, 19, of Frindsbury Road, Strood, is due to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Monday, and a 16-year-old boy also from Strood, will appear at the same court on Friday, February 22.
