Suspicious car and van fire in Rock Avenue, Gillingham on Tuesday night.

Firefighters were called out to a suspicious van and car fire last night.

Crews from Medway got a call at 9.23pm to say the Nissan van and a car were alight in Rock Avenue, Gillingham.

The fire was put out by 10.23pm and a spokesman from Kent Fire and Rescue Service said: "Crews believed the ignition of the fire to be suspicious and alerted police."
