Teenager denies rape at Pentagon Shopping Centre stairwell, Chatham

A teenager has denied three rape offences allegedly committed on a stairwell in a shopping centre.

The 16-year-old was arrested with two others after incidents at a car park next to the Pentagon Shopping Centre in Chatham on Sunday, March 18, and Monday, March 19.

The boy, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, pleaded not guilty at Maidstone Court on Monday to three charges of oral rape involving two girls, aged 15 and 16.

He was remanded in custody and will stand trial on September 17.

Another teenager is due to be joined to the case.
