Three vehicles have been involved in an accident on a sliproad onto the M2.

Police were called at 8.13am and found one vehicle pointing sideways in the middle lane following the crash.

The accident happened on the London bound side at junction 3 for the A229 towards Blue Bell Hill and Maidstone.

One woman was being treated for minor injuries following the collision, which involved a van and two other vehicles.

All lanes have been reopened and traffic has returned to normal.

Police and ambulance crews remain at the scene.
