A tongue-in-cheek tutorial teaching girls how to get ready for a night out in Medway has become a YouTube hit.
Don't take a shower, keep your hair as dry and big as possible, cake on the fake tan and cover your face in foundation – those are the words of Kate Payne.
She has posted her top tips on how to achieve the "Medway chic look" in her online video How To Get Ready For A Night Out: Medway Style.
Kate transforms her face into a Medway-inspired masterpiece - complete with the "Medway brow" plus fake tan, foundation and mascara.
Since her video was uploaded on Sunday, it has received more than 6,500 hits and dozens of comments.
Kate tells her viewers: "Don't even bother taking a shower because if you're from Medway no amount of water is going to make you clean."
She uses three different mascaras, tells girls "don't worry about it being thick because guys love thick girls" and advises applying black and glittery eyeshadow with the "most recent eye applicator that you nicked from Superdrug".
Viewer Leigh Edwards responded to the video: "Looks like almost every girl I ever tried pulling at Casino's in Rochester. Hilarious!"
Esmeralda Young added: "It's like Chatham in a video!"
But chelschampion1990 said: "Omg not all Medway girls look like this on a night out."
