Karen Sennett from Rainham has been charged with child neglect after a baby fell from a block of flats in Station Road

A woman has been charged with child neglect after a baby fell from a block of flats.

The toddler plunged from a window in Station Road, Rainham on Tuesday, August 5.

The baby was taken by ambulance to King's College Hospital, London but was later released.

It is believed the little girl suffered head and chest injuries in the fall.

Karen Sennett, 31, of Station Road, Rainham was arrested, and released on bail until this week.

She has since been charged with child neglect, and bailed to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Monday, October 27.
