Shannon Farrow-Davis charged with assault after police and air ambulance were called out to Bryant Road, Strood

A woman has been charged with assault following an alleged attack which left a man in hospital.

The air ambulance was called out at 8.25am on Saturday to a home in Bryant Road, Strood.

A man was found with injuries to his neck and taken to King’s College Hospital by road. Police were also called.

Shannon Farrow-Davis, 23, of Bryant Road, Strood, was arrested and charged with assault.

She appeared before Medway Magistrates yesterday, but the case was sent to crown court because of the seriousness of the offence.

She will appear at Maidstone Crown Court on October 23.

The injured 22-year-old has since been discharged from hospital and returned home.
