Samantha King, 25, of Gillingham, was charged with driving with excess breath alcohol and bailed until April 28.

On Facebook people were posting about the crash, which was during rush hour traffic.

Gill Prince said: "I was there just now, horrible accident, no idea how the car came to be facing the way it was.

"Didn't look good as I passed, lots of people crowded around someone on the pavement.

"Police and ambulance arrived just as I did. Good wishes to those injured."

South East Coast Ambulance were also at the scene but no injuries were reported.
