A car overturned in a motorway crash this evening.

A woman was seen being treated by emergency crews following the smash on the slip road at junction 2 for Rochester and Strood.

Police, paramedics and firefighters were called to the scene just after 6pm.

A police spokesman said: "Kent Police received a report of a collision at around 6pm on Tuesday 5 July.

"Officers and Secamb attended the scene on the M2 coastbound near junction 2.

"A woman sustained injuries believed to be minor. The lane was closed while a car was recovered."
