X Factor singer Stacey Solomon, who won I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, visits kmfm

Singer and reality TV star Stacey Solomon popped into the kmfm and Medway Messenger offices earlier for a chat about her debut album.

The Essex mum, who shot to fame in the 2009 series of X Factor, was interviewed by Garry and Emma from kmfm Breakfast.

Since X Factor, Stacey has won I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, competed in The Jump in Channel 4 and voiced a character in The SpongeBob Movie.

Emma said: “It’s been six years since Stacey Solomon won the nation over on X Factor. She’s been ever so busy since, doing just about everything but singing.

“Well it’s finally coming; Stacey’s debut album, Shy, will be released April 20 She came into the kmfm studio to tell us about the album, plus all sorts of other stuff keeping her busy, like voicing a character for the new SpongeBob movie.

"And just as you thought life couldn’t get any more awesome for Ms S, she’s got a hot new celebrity romance going on and she got to play our special game; I’ve Got a Loverly Bunch of Coconuts.”

The first single from Stacey’s album, also called Shy, features Rita Ora and is released on April 13.

The kmfm interview ill be aired on Friday, April 10.
