Former Gillingham and Dover defender Bondz N'Gala has signed for Dagenham & Redbridge.

N'Gala ended last season at Crabble and was offered new terms by Dover but instead will line up against them in the National League next season.

The 27-year-old signed for Gills in February but never played for the club because of a new Fifa ruling.

N'Gala had already played for Barnet and Eastleigh during the season and couldn't play for another "professional" team in the same season but was allowed to sign for Whites.

He made five league appearances for Chris Kinnear's side.

N'Gala has signed a two-year contract at Dagenham.
