Former Gillingham and Wales goalkeeper Jason Brown leaves coaching role at the League 1 club

Jason Brown has left his goalkeeping coaching role at Gillingham just three weeks after re-joining the club.

A club statement, said: "Gillingham FC can confirm that Jason Brown has left his role as Goalkeeping Coach with immediate effect.

"Jason has decided to pursue his coaching career elsewhere, and we wish him well in his next position."

When signing, the former Welsh international told the club website: “It's a dream come true.

"I've been doing my coaching now for a couple of seasons part-time at Arsenal and Millwall and when the opportunity came up to come back to this great club it was too good to turn down."
