Gillingham face another away trip in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.

Saturday morning's draw paired the Gills with fellow League 1 side Crawley Town.

Peter Taylor’s side have already played, and won, twice on the road in the competition to reach the area quarter-final stage.

On Tuesday Taylor’s side beat Colchester on penalties in their second round match. A 1-0 win at Stevenage had seen them progress past the opening stage.

Crawley have made it through to the competition’s third round after wins over Cambridge United (2-0) and Luton Town (1-0).

The tie will take place in the week beginning November 10.
