Gillingham boss Justin Edinburgh has allowed four senior players to leave the club.

The Gills boss had to decide the future of five players this week but just one - keeper Glenn Morris - has been offered a new contract.

It means that defenders Leon Legge and Gavin Hoyte, along with Danny Galbraith will all leave Priestfield - with Joe Martin already announcing his departure via Twitter earlier this week. The club have now confirmed Martin's exit.

Legge was part of the League 2 title-winning squad under former boss Martin Allen but struggled to get into the team under Edinburgh's charge, although he did feature in the final month of the campaign and scored in the 2-2 draw at Preston in April.

Hoyte made 35 appearances for the Gills this season while Galbraith has featured only a couple of times since Edinburgh came to the club.

Keeper Morris has impressed since taking over from Stuart Nelson between the sticks in the final months of the campaign.
