Hollands & Blair part company with manager Bryan Greenfield while Paul Piggott returns

It’s all change at Hollands & Blair.

The Southern Counties East side, bottom of the Premier Division without a win from their opening 15 league games, are seeking a new first team manager after the departure of Bryan Greenfield.

And there have been changes at board level too.

Laurence Pulmmer has stood down as club manager and lead executive and has been replaced by elected joint chairman.

The two men filling that roles are Phil Knights and former manager Paul Piggott. Mr Plummer will remain as club secretary.

Blair issued a statement following Greenfield’s exit, leaving his role after 18 months in charge.

It said: “Bryan has been a huge part of Blair’s progression and success over the last 10 years, playing over 300 games for the first team going on to become manager in the last 18 months.

“The club would like to thank Jock (Greenfield) for his hard work and dedication and hope that he becomes a part of the family off the field helping to progress the club further.

“Due to results this season the club have made this very difficult decision to part company as first team manager.”

A new manager is now being sought and any potential candidates are asked to contact the club.

A new board structure comes into effect immediately.

The new structure will also mean a change for Barry Peirce, who takes over as club president.

A club statement said: “This will allow a younger and fresh approach to the running of Hollands & Blair and the new team will provide changes and ideas that reflect the current game and move the club forward.”
