Juraj Huska hit his 100th Invicta Dynamos goal to help Mos make it 12 straight wins in NIHL South Division 1 with a 7-2 victory against the Solent Devils.

Mos remained two points clear at the top after Sunday’s win, despite missing Billy and Charlie Phillips, Andy Smith and Grant Baxter.

The visitors took the lead but a drive from Callum Fowler rebounded off netminder Christian Cole to Michal Oravec to make it 1-1.

The hosts raised their game in the second period with Ashley Jackson making it 2-1 with a fine solo goal before Huska swept home Anthony Leone’s pass to complete his Mos century in just 80 appearances.

Jackson went clear to make it 4-1 before the end of the frame and despite losing Leone after a fight at the start of the third, Fowler’s pass sent Oravec through to make it 5-1.

The Devils responded immediately but Dynamos then added two more in as
minutes, Nicky Lewis beating the keeper before Huska grabbed his second goal.

The previous day, Invicta slipped to a fifth straight defeat in the National Challenge Cup losing 11-2 to EPL side Guildford Flames - their ninth loss in 12 games.

Mos complete their cup campaign at Milton Keynes Lightning on Saturday before hosting London Raiders in the league at Silver Blades on Sunday (5.15pm).
