1. KENT V AUSTRALIA (CRICKET)

Where: The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence, Canterbury
Time: 11am Thursday, June 25 to Sunday, June 28

Kent take on Australia in a four-day match - the first run-out for the Aussies on their Ashes Tour. It will be the first time in six years that Australia have visited Canterbury - since they played the England Lions.

2. AMERICAN SPEEDFEST III (MOTORSPORT)

Where: Brands Hatch, Fawkham
Time: Saturday and Sunday, June 6-7

For the third year in a row the American orientated motoring and motorsport weekend takes over Brands Hatch, offering live music, food and the headline act, NASCAR.

3. GILLINGHAM FC FIXTURE LIST RELEASED

Where: Kentonline website
When: Wednesday, June 17

Get ready for the new League 1 season with the announcement of the Gills fixture list. The club finished mid-table last season.

4. LYDDEN HILL TRUCK FESTIVAL

Where: Lydden Hill Race Circuit, between Canterbury and Dover
Time: Saturday and Sunday, June 20-21, 10.30am - 4.00pm

With 28 races, the Lydden Hill Truck Festival is a family fun weekend out which also provides the chance to see saloon cars and sports cars.

5. KENT JUDO INTERNATIONAL

Where: Medway Park
Time: Friday, June 26 to Sunday, June 28

The Olympic sport is coming to Medway to encourage all UK competing athletes to take part and there will be room for spectators to enjoy the day.

6. SHEPPEY DARTS CLASSIC

Where: Merlins Entertainment Complex, Isle of Sheppey
When: Sunday, June 7 to Monday, June 8

The 13th classic dart tournament is back. The favourite, Georgie Cressey, is ranked No.99 in the BDO standings.

7. BSB BRITISH SUPERBIKES

Where: Snetterton, north of Thetford, Norfolk
When: Friday, June 19 to Sunday, June 21

The race itself is in Norfolk but Shane Byrne the current No.2 in the overall standings is from Sittingbourne. Byrne is eight points behind leader James Ellison but has a good history on the track, having won the 2014 race.

8. KENT WHEELCHAIR RUGBY LEAGUE SUPER LEAGUE

Where: Medway Park
When: Sunday, June 21

As part of the Disability Sport Open Day, Medway Council has created a day for spectators to discover wheelchair rugby with Super League teams, including Medway Dragons, Hull and Huddersfield Giants.

9. MEDWAY 10k

Where: Medway Park
When: Sunday, June 7

Organised by the council on behalf of the Medway Fesitval of Sport, the 10k run is a sponsored event in aid of the chairty Wisdom Hospice.

10. GREAT KENT BIKE RIDE

Where: North Park, Ashford
When: Sunday, June 28

Whether you’re experienced and feel up to a 60-mile bike ride or if a 35-mile outing sounds better, the route gives cyclist the chance to see the Kent countryside and raise money for East Kent Hospital.
