Gillingham agree a new deal with former Crystal Palace youngster Elliott List

Young forward Elliott List has signed a new deal with Gillingham.

The 20-year-old was out of contract at the end of last season but has agreed a new one year term.

List is a former Crystal Palace youth player and has 21 league appearances to his name, although only three starts.

His debut came on Boxing Day, 2015, in the 3-1 win at Swindon, demonstrating his pace early on.

He went onto make seven appearances during that debut season under former boss Justin Edinburgh.

List played another 19 games last season, including the League Cup win at Premier League Watford and a place on the bench against Tottenham Hotspur.

He’s now eager to show what he can do next season.

Speaking after agreeing his new deal, List said: “I just want to go out on the pitch and show what I can do and make everyone proud.

“I always wanted to be at Gillingham, it took a while (to agree a deal), but I love it here and the fans are great. I want to do the best I can for the club.”
