Aaron Morris’ hopes of a Gillingham return have suffered a setback.

The midfielder has been missing for a month with a hamstring injury and it may be another three weeks before he sees action again.

Boss Peter Taylor said: “He has had a little bit of a setback on his other hamstring.

“That has set him back another two weeks probably now. It will be two weeks before he is training, so at least three weeks (before he can play).”

Fellow midfielder Josh Pritchard is closer to a return from a hip injury.

Taylor said: “Josh has had a slight strain on a hip flexer, which we have had scanned now. It has not been an easy one to work out. He has been feeling uncomfortable at the end of every training session. In a week’s time I would say he will be fine."

Callum Davies is back in training following a foot injury while Michael Doughty misses Saturday's game at Bradford as he serves a one-match ban.

Full-back Joe Martin, who was sent off in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy match at Crawley, sits out the second of his three-game suspension.
