The early NIHL South Division 1 pacesetters Wightlink Raiders stand in the way of Invicta Dynamos this weekend.

Dynamos face the Raiders twice in separate cup competitions but coach Kevin Parrish insists his team have nothing to fear.

On Saturday the Mos begin their weekend with a trip to the Isle of Wight in the NIHL Southern Cup before the two clash in Gillingham on Sunday in the Southeast Trophy (face-off 5.15pm).

Mos head into the two games with back-to-back league wins behind them, including a 10-0 victory over Cardiff.

Parrish said: “They are unbeaten in the league but we’ve only dropped three points and we’ve had a tougher run of games.”

One forward who will no longer feature for the Mos is Alan Lack, who has decided to quit the club.

“There were a couple of issues,” said Parrish. “He wanted to play a different role and get more ice-time. Some people have different excuses for wanting to leave and he says he is homesick and that something isn’t right."

With Daniel Fudger and Nicky Lewis back soon from injury, Parrish is unlikely to replace Lack in the roster.
