The powerful striker turned pro in the summer of 2017. He was an unused substitute on five occasions during the latter stages of the 2016/17 season under head coach Ady Pennock. Joined National South side Hampton & Richmond on loan in August before going out on loan to Kingstonian. Returned to Gills and scored his first professional goal in the 7-5 Checkatrade Trophy win over Reading under-21s.
