Kevin Parrish believes his side need to be taking maximum points this weekend to maintain their challenge for the title.

The Invicta Dynamos head coach leads his men into games at fellow title hopefuls Streatham Redkins on Saturday and against leaders Wightlink Raiders at home on Sunday.

Both will be tough but Parrish doesn’t fear anyone in NIHL South Division 1.

He said: “It’s a massive weekend and if we want to be in the hunt for the title, we need to be taking four points from these two games.

“We are playing catch-up and can’t worry about what other teams are doing. We need to make sure we put the points on the board.

“Our team are talented and there is no reason why we can’t win both games. They have the right attitude, when it’s applied and when they listen.

“At the start of the season we went 13 unbeaten and we weren’t just beating the lesser teams in the division. We were beating those that we need to beat to win the league.

“We’ve got a tough few weeks coming up, with several away games and we need to be winning games now. It’s no point winning Saturday and not turning up Sunday. We need to win both.”
