Scoresight - can you beat our pundit, football manager and fan in Saturday's football predictions?

Know your Kent football? Here's your chance to prove it by beating a panel of football experts by using your Scoresight to predict correct results.

In this week's opening instalment, the panel is made up of KentOnline sports journalist Andrew Gidley, Neil Cugley, manager of Bostik Premier side Folkestone Invicta and Margate fan Thomas Brown.

The four games chosen for the panel to mull over this week are Gillingham's trip to MK Dons in League 1, Ebbsfleet's game at Maidenhead in the National League, Dartford at home to Oxford City in National League South and Margate v Leiston in Bostik Premier.

A perfect scoreline secures three points for the predictor while a correct result (win, lose or draw) earns a point.

Last week's winner was Faversham manager Ray Turner with four points, though his mark was matched by KOL commenter 'Stiff Little Fingers.'

So here are this week's predictions, first up Folkestone's long-serving boss Neil Cugley.

MK Dons 1-1 Gillingham - Neither team have scored yet but I think they'll both get off the mark here.

Maidenhead 2-2 Ebbsfleet - They came up together and I can see it being another draw.

Dartford 2-0 Oxford City - Dartford are at home and I think they'll win this one.

Margate 2-1 Leiston -This should be a good game between two good sides but I think Margate will come out on top.

Veteran sports journalist Andrew Gidley, a veteran of World Cups and European Championships, aswell as FA Cup Finals, is next to go.

MK Dons 1-1 Gillingham - Both teams are looking for a boost after early disappointment.

Maidenhead 2-2 Ebbsfleet - Both sides are free-scoring early in the season and Fleet have drawn the past two 3-3.

Dartford 2-1 Oxford City - Darts are looking follow up their first win of the season and I think they will.

Margate 2-1 Leiston - Gate will be desperate to get their first win on the new 3G pitch and I think it comes here.

Thanet football fan and evidently frustrated football journalist Thomas Brown is last but not least.

MK Dons 1-1 Gillingham - Neither side has found the net this season so I’m not expecting a goal-fest. Both sides will still be bedding in new signings and Gills have bolstered their defence in recent weeks but goals win games and that will be the key to their progress. A dramatic late equaliser will share the spoils here.

Maidenhead 2-3 Ebbsfleet - The hosts have yet to keep a clean sheet so I think The Fleet can take three points here.

Maidenhead have followed Dover’s lead in beating Hartlepool and won 4-1 at Fylde in midweek so there’s no room for complacency and Fleet’s only clean sheet was in the 2-0 win against Maidstone.

Dartford 2-1 Oxford City - Both sides have six points from their opening four games and I’m expecting a close encounter.

Similar to the Gills, the goals have not been flowing and it’s important that Dartford convert more chances to move up the table.

The Darts’ groundsman recently won an award for the surface at Princes Park and it should be a good game.

Margate 3-1 Leiston - Margate will be keen to record a first home win after a goalless draw in the midweek match against Tonbridge Angels.

Losing the attacking nous of Alex Flisher for the season will be a big blow to manager Steven Watt but have already move to replace him with the arrival of Jordan Chiedozie.

With two clean sheets in the opening two matches, Gate seem to have a good defensive unit which they will hope can stay fit so the onus is on the attack to fire the goals get the Gate up the table.

Leiston have won both their opening matches 1-0 but I think once Gate adapt to their new 3G pitch, it will prove an advantage as Maidstone proved in their rapid rise through the divisions.
