Gillingham will be live on sky sports when they play away to Wigan Athletic on Thursday, January 7

Gillingham's League 1 trip to Wigan Athletic has been moved to a Thursday night for television coverage.

The Gills will now visit Wigan on Thursday, January 7 with the game being shown live on Sky Sports. The match was originally due to be played on January 9.

It is the second away Gills league game move for television coverage in as many season after their trip to Coventry last year was moved to a Friday night.

Gills hosted Wigan in August at Priestfield and ran out 2-0 winners thanks to two goals from leading scorer Bradley Dack.
