Nobody here is relaxing because we are not safe yet.

We want to get over that line and over the 50-point mark. A figure of around 53 points will probably make us safe and we are still looking for a couple of wins before we can relax.

We don’t want to be looking down there, though, we want to push on.

We know the play-offs are going to be difficult and have let ourselves down in the last few games but let’s get ourselves over the line and in this league next year, have a good pre-season and build on the next.

Leading up to Christmas we were in and out the drop zone and wondering whether it was going to be one of those seasons.

We went on a good run and we’ve still only lost two in 14, which is probably one of the better records in the league, even though there are a few draws in there.

It wouldn’t be impossible to stay unbeaten for the rest of the season so that would be a great record to take into next season.

We didn’t play as well as we know we can last Saturday and I felt Colchester were there for the taking. Maybe that was our downfall.

In the end, we showed great character to twice come back from behind, especially so late. We are disappointed not to win and no disrespect to Colchester but we should be winning games like that at home.

Skipper Doug Loft showed great composure with the finish to make it 2-2. He had a lot of bodies running at him, to try and block him and to curl it in round the outside, so late. It was a lovely finish.

We have set our standards high recently but it is hard to reach those every week.

We have let ourselves down in the last couple of games but hope we can do better and that’s what we will be looking to do on Saturday.

We have already played at Crawley, in the Johnstone’s Paint. I didn’t play but the lads said that we deserved the win.

We know it is going to be tough. They have turned a massive corner and are on a good run but at this stage, they are all tough because everyone has something the play for.
