I had one of those days at Leyton Orient where everything I hit went straight at the keeper!
On another day, I would have scuffed the ball and seen it roll into the corner.

The Leyton Orient goalkeeper did have a good game but the saves he made are the saves a keeper should make. He made one good block but most were in and around him.

It was the fourth game in a row I’ve started now and that’s the longest run I’ve had in the side. Hopefully, I can get a few goals now.

It was nice to get the praise after Monday’s game but it hasn’t always been like that. That is football, though, everyone has an opinion.

I thought I did well against Doncaster and wanted to kick on but I’ve played a few now and it’s nice to be having a run in the team.

Negative criticism doesn’t affect me, you can’t let that happen. Gareth Bale has been caned and he’s one of the best footballers in the world.

It was a good game on Monday and we deserved to win. We did enough and when you go 3-1 up away from home, you would normally think you can come away with the three points.

It was disappointing that we didn’t win but at least it was a better performance than Friday – when we lost 1-0 to Fleetwood – and there were plenty of positives.
