How you can help

The Loughreys
hope to raise another £25,000, which could pay for a CLIC Sargent
nurse to work in Medway for a year and will bring their fundraising
total to £100,000.
Matt is hoping businesses, clubs and
schools will back him by holding fundraising events and
collections.
If you would like to get involved,
here is an A-Z of fundraisng ideas.
If you have never done anything like
this before, just get in touch with Dan Powell, CLIC Sargent’s
local fundraising manager, and he can send you a pack with ideas
and tips.
Dan said: "There are three things you
should remember; the first is to make it fun. You will feel more
motivated and enjoy your fundraising so much more if you’re doing
something you like doing, whether it’s having a tea party, playing
football or doing a sponsored swim.
"The second is to ask others to help.
Share the load and ask others to get involved in planning and
organising your fundraising.
"The third is, it’s who you know that
matters, if you’re looking for a raffle prize ask a local business
you use and know well, or ask other people to speak to their
contacts."
