Car fall man leaves hospital

A motorist who was injured after falling from his car on the M2 is out of hospital.
Daniel Irwin was taken to the Royal London Hospital after the incident between the Chatham and Gillingham turn-offs on June 19.
He suffered burns to his arms, legs and back, plus cuts to his face and head.
Traffic was brought to a standstill for about three hours on the coastbound carriageway.
AccidentMr Irwin, 22, left hospital on Tuesday afternoon and is staying at his mother’s home in Iwade, near Sittingbourne.
Mrs Irwin said: “He needs to have some physio on his left hand and his other injuries seem to be getting better.”
She said her son had “not really talked” about how he came to fall from the car.
Kent Police said the circumstances surrounding the incident are still being investigated.
