Kids Galore, latest news
The finalists in this year's Kids Galore competition are
about to be revealed.
Thousands of votes poured in for the 1,000 youngsters who
entered the contest.
Counting them was a big job but it’s done now and the 12
finalists will be named in Friday's Medway Messenger (July
3).
The three children with the most votes in each of the four age
groups have made the final.
The winner of each group will be chosen by judges as will the
overall winner who will follow in the footsteps of last year's
victor, Madison Lee.
There’s a prize fund of £3,500 put up by the competition sponsors
Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre.
This year, the money is being distributed slightly differently
which means each finalist will win at least £50.
The winners will be announced at Hempstead Valley in August - all
the finalists will be notified of the exact details.
