Rainham man attacked

A man was hit from behind and knocked unconscious in an early morning attack.

The 40-year-old from Rainham was attacked in Station Road, also in Rainham.

The incident happened at about 1am on Sunday, February 21, police have only just released the details.

The man suffered injuries to his face and right leg.

Police want anyone who was in the area at the time to contact them.

Officers are hoping that people using a nearby taxi rank may have information that could help them with their inquiries.

    Totally agree with Lisa. This is almost a month later and the Police are only just asking for information! It's ludicrous.
