Driver cut free after crash in Gillingham

A driver had to be cut out of his car
after a crash in Gillingham, yesterday evening.
Firefighters from Medway fire station
were called to Grange Road, after the two cars collided at
about 6.50pm.
The man, who has not been named, is not
thought to have been seriously injured during the smash, which
closed the road for a short time while the emergency services dealt
with the incident.
A spokesman for Kent Fire and Rescue
Service, said: “We cut the roof off to get the man out of his car.
We were on the scene for about an hour.”
