Harjit Chaggar was found dead in a shop in Chatham
The funeral of a pensioner found dead in a shop in Chatham is being held today.
The body of Harjit Chaggar, 69, was discovered in the Sani Globe Food shop in Luton Road 12 days after she was reported missing.
Her funeral service is being held at the Sikh temple, The Medway Towns Gurdwara in Lankester Parker Road, in Rochester, at 10.45am.
After this service, a cremation will take place at Medway Crematorium in Blue Bell Hill, Chatham, with a service from 11.40am.
Police launched a murder investigation after grandmother Mrs Chaggar was found dead in the basement of the shop
Three people who worked at the shop have been charged with her murder.
Mrs Chaggar went missing in the Luton Arches area of Chatham on Monday, September 2.
Police and her family - including her 46-year-old son Kuldish - launched a missing persons appeal in the hope she would be found.

On the day she went missing, Mrs Chaggar was last seen in Luton Road - just 10 minutes from her home in Hillside Terrace, Chatham.
She had been to a day centre that she visited every Monday, before going to the doctor to collect a prescription.
She was seen leaving the King's Family Practice in Magpie Hall Road at about 3.30pm, before she made her way to another Asian grocery store in Luton Road.
After leaving the shop, she was captured on CCTV outside Linda Matthews estate agents, but after that police could find no trace of her until her body was found in the shop.

Mrs Chaggar had been due to go on a holiday to India to visit family on September 21.
Last month, it was revealed that the shop has been bought by Alam Emon, who was due to reopen the business this week.
