Driver fights back as two men try to get into his car in Canadian Avenue, Gillingham
Two men tried to get into a driver's car as he slowed down... before throwing his empty bag in his face.
Police are investigating after the two men opened the doors to a car driving down Canadian Avenue, Gillingham, at around 5.40pm on Tuesday.
The victim, a man in his 50s, had pulled over in his car, a metallic blue Mazda MX5, to allow another vehicle to pass when the first suspect opened the passenger side door, got in and asked for a lift.

When the driver told him to leave a second man then opened the driver’s side door.
In the scuffle that followed, the motorist tried to close his door and the first man shouted to the second to pull him from the car.
When that didn't happen, the victim's bag was grabbed - only for the thieves to find it empty.
It was thrown back into the victim's face, cutting his ear. The pair then ran off.
The first offender is white, between 18 to 20, and 5ft 8ins and slim, with short mousey brown hair.
He had a cigarette behind his right ear and wore a pale-coloured zip-up top.
The second man is white, with short dark hair and about 5ft 10ins.
Investigating officer, PC Emma Davies, said: "This attack left the victim quite shaken and we are following up all possible lines of enquiry.
"Incidents like this are thankfully extremely rare, but I’d like to remind people to keep their car doors locked while they are travelling around."
