Chatham Town looking for a quick reponse

Chatham will hope to bounce back quickly from their FA Cup
exit at Chertsey last week when they make a second successive trip
to Surrey to face Walton Casuals in Ryman League Division 1 South
on Saturday.
Manager Paul Foley and his assistant Mark Newson organised
an in-house friendly between first team and reserves in midweek to
help match fitness after the Bank Holiday Monday game against
Ramsgate was postponed, as the Thanet side were involved in a cup
replay.
Newson said: "It has gone quite well, the new boys have fitted
in well and we hope it continues throughout the season.
"Paul and I have a Plan B if things don’t go so well and
everyone is aware of that as well."
Casuals escaped relegation last season after a league reshuffle
and have made a good start under new boss Neil Shipperley, son of
former Gillingham defender Dave, whose boots Newson used to clean
when he was a youngster at Charlton.
Kevin Winchcombe made his first appearance as a second-half
substitute at Chertsey after recovering from a double knee
operation.
Gary Cook and Anthony Hogg complete their suspensions this
weekend.
