Gillingham striker Deon Burton glad to be back at Priestfield after long trips on the road

Deon Burton, Gillingham's two-goal hero at Rotherham, will be
glad to be stepping back out at Priestfield on Saturday.
The Gills have been on the road for the last three games –
clocking up almost 1,500 miles – with trips to Accrington, Preston
Their last game at Priestfield was on November 20, when they
were beaten by Exeter City with an 88th minute goal.
"It’s onwards and upwards and hopefully we can improve on the
last game here," said Burton (pictured at Rotherham) who took his
season's tally to nine with both goals in the 2-1 win at the New
York Stadium on Saturday.
"We seem to have been on the team bus for about the last month
and it would be nice to get in front of our home fans again and do

morning travelling up north, and it does take its toll – five or
six hours on a bus on the Friday ahead of a game Saturday. It’s
