Invicta Dynamos coach Kevin Parrish targeting two wins at the weekend

By Luke Cawdell
Invicta Dynamos coach Kevin Parrish believes their win over
high-flying Romford on Sunday should give his team the confidence
to finish the season on a high.
The Mos returned from Romford in the NIHL Division 1 South as
7-5 winners. It was a victory that Parrish admitted typified their
season. He said: "As much as it was good to get the win, it was
still frustrating. It sums up how inconsistent we have been.
"One week we are superb and the next week we are the worst of
the worst. We have dropped points where we shouldn’t have, like the
games at Streatham and it shows how inconsistent we have been."
Dynamos travel to bottom side Solent & Gosport on Saturday
and return to Gillingham on Sunday to face Bracknell Hornets
(5.15pm face-off). Both teams have recently lost to the Mos and
Parrish is hoping for a double success.
Parrish (pictured) said: "We’ll be looking to go for all
four points. We can then start looking at a fourth place finish and
who knows, if the third place team drop points, we could even
finish there.
"We’ve got 16 points left to play for and although we’ve got
some tough games to come, we’ve shown we can beat the top
sides.
"There is no point going to Romford and taking two points if we
then go into this weekend and don’t take the points. Maybe it’s
time to show some consistency."
