Chatham boss Kevin Watson praises midweek match-winner Harry Smith

Rodrigue N'Diane's Chatham
return was cut short by injury – but his replacement against Nedham
Market scored the winner on Tuesday night.
Utility man N’Diane asked to rejoin
Chats just weeks after leaving for Redhill.
He the Ryman League, Division 1
North game but pulled a hamstring after 15 minutes.
Harry Smith took his place and
scored the only goal five minutes later, finishing after keeper Tim
Roberts’ clearance caught out the home
defence.
Chats manager Kevin Watson
(pictured) praised Smith’s contribution.
He said: "It’s hard to say whether
Harry would’ve started if Roddy hadn’t come back but I know what he
gives us.
"He scored a decent goal which was
pleasing because it’s difficult coming on at any stage in a game.
The goal gave him confidence and he did well."
Injury will keep N’Diane out of
Chats’ game at AFC Sudbury on Saturday but Watson is pleased
to have him back at Maidstone Road.
Lee Hales (knee) and Brad Potter
(toe) will also miss the Sudbury game but Matt Newman returns from
suspension.
