The abseil was officially launched by event partners Wilkins Kennedy who have offices across Kent and will be staged by the KM Charity Team on Sunday, November 12.

Alex Andrews of Wilkins Kennedy urged participants to sign up. “Anybody can get involved. You can support your local society or a club that is important to you. Come and join our staff for a fun and exciting day,” she said.

No previous experience is necessary for individuals aged 16 and over to face the 100ft drop. Friends and family are welcome to watch and cheer the abseilers as they make their descent.

Event organiser Dominic Comins of the KM Charity Team said: “Tickets are going fast so book now to secure your place and enjoy the thrill of going over the top for a good cause.”

The KM Abseil Challenge will be held at Thomas Place, Maidstone. To book, visit www.kmcharitychallenge.co.uk or click this link HERE and use the discount code KMNEWS17.
