Tickets are still available for teams of up to eight to join in the fun being staged by the KM Group's charity department on Friday, June 15 at the Ashford International Hotel.

Money received from the sale of refreshments at the Shepherd Neame charity bar and raffle tickets will be matched pound for pound by Barclays bank. This will boost the coffers of good causes including the Kentish Express newspaper's charity of the year Ashford Volunteer Centre.

Beverley Walsh, manager of Barclays’ Ashford High Street branch, said: “It’s a fantastic opportunity for staff to be part of something that adds huge value to our local charities, our community and Ashford town.

“It’s also a great opportunity for the team to work together and have fun.”

The top prize for the winning team is £150 worth of DFDS Seaways vouchers for each member – and the best four teams will go through to the county final.

Competitors will have the chance to win Eurostar tickets and raffle prizes including a Scalextric set from Hornby and a spa day.

Also receiving a share of the proceeds will be child literacy and road safety services for schools, plus one charity chosen in a prize draw out of all causes submitting a team.

Organisations supporting the KM Big Charity Quiz include Office Angels, Hallett and Co Solicitors, Specsavers, and IMP.
