Nine new mega obstacles have been added to the KM Assault Course Challenge for 2017.

Set to test the nerve of all who take part, the new additions wouldn’t be out of place on any army assault course.

Now open for bookings, the collaborative challenge event allows any good cause to raise vital funds by conquering the ultimate adrenaline-inducing course.

Teams of six must tackle twenty three taxing obstacles throughout the course which includes a tyre wall, water jumps, balance beams and the fearsome rope walk.

Entrants can opt to raise money for their favourite charity and good cause, or gain sponsorship for services linked with the event including the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance.

Lauren Elphilk of Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance called for entrants to support the charity, she said: “We would love people to support the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance so we can continue our life saving work across the three counties.”

The Kent MS Therapy Centre are also seeking support from the event, Helen Wathen of the charity added; “We support people across the whole of the south and east of Kent with Multiple Sclerosis and we desperately need people to take part in these challenges to help us to raise the funds needed to keep our centre open.”

Everyone who takes on the KM Assault Course Challenge will be rewarded with a limited edition medal upon completion.

Dominic Comins, events manager of the KM Charity Team, said: “The Assault Course Challenge broke records for sponsorship last year, more than 40 teams raised over £10,000 at the 2016 event. The desire is to go even bigger in 2017 with a harder course and more money raised. Booking is now open for the event and we are searching for the bravest and boldest to test their nerve!”

Kent’s ultimate dirty day out takes place on Saturday, October 7 at Betteshanger Country Park, near Deal. Key partners backing the event include MY/PT and Betteshanger.
