The business has supplied equipment and expertise for abseil challenges staged by the KM Charity Team for many years enabling Kent and Medway's daredevils to take part in thrilling events in aid of their favourite charities.

Simon Dolby of the KM Charity Team said: "Barry and the Over The Edge team have looked after our KM abseil challenges here in Kent for the last five years. Thanks to his support and professionalism we have helped 150 different charities raise £200,000.

"A key part of the work of the KM Charity Team is helping others with their fundraising and Barry is very much part of our team helping to deliver that support.

"It is highly appropriate that we acknowledge Barry's support to the charitable sector in Kent by naming Over The Edge as a Corporate Ambassador of the KM Charity Team."

Over The Edge UK operates nationwide providing abseil events for charity fundraising and corporate team building days.

Managing director Barry Norton said: “We are delighted to continue our successful partnership with the KM Charity Team. We have thoroughly enjoyed providing numerous charity abseils to benefit charities situated in Kent.”

The business will also show participants the ropes at the KM Charity Team's summer abseil challenge at Leas Cliff Hall, Folkestone on June 14.
