Press release and photography training courses are being provided by North Kent Training Service with support from the KM Group.

Charities that take part will learn how to gain more press coverage for their organisations and benefit by raising their profiles and funds.

The first course is press release training on April 28, 9.30am to 12.30pm in Chatham. Attendees will learn from the experts on how to write a catchy press release to potentially earn their cause supporters, cash and volunteers. The course is perfect for beginners but also has plenty of top tips for the more experienced.

The second course is press photography training on July 8, 9.30am to 12.30pm in Chatham. This will be a hands-on session demonstrating how to take a photograph that a local news desk will want to use.

The fee for each course is £30 per person for individuals or voluntary sector organisations, or £45 per person for private and public sector organisations.
