Scope’s shop in Chatham will be closing its doors for the last time on Tuesday.

In a statement the disability charity said it had decided the store was "unsustainable at the present time."

Area Manager Jaron Chamberlain said:

“Scope would like to say a big thank you to all our supporters for their generous custom over the years.

"Huge thanks also goes to our dedicated staff and volunteers for their commitment and efforts.”

“We hope people will continue to support Scope’s work and visit our nearby store in the area, located in Gillingham.”
