This Friday brainiacs will battle it out for general knowledge glory and £500 at the KM Ashford Big Charity Quiz.

The clash of the quiz titans is at The Stour Centre, Ashford this Friday, October 10. Funds raised will go towards the Ashford Foodbank, Kent Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre, KM Walk to School and road safety training for children.

Event organiser Dominic Comins of the KM Charity Team said: “One lucky quiz-goer will walk away with £500 on the night just for correctly answering one on-the-spot question with the KM Cash Builder.”

He added: “It will be a great night for charity too thanks to Barclays who are matching the money raised from the raffle and the Shepherd Neame charity bar up to £1,000.”

KM Big Quiz sponsors include Shepherd Neame, Barclays, Specsavers, Hallett and Co and McDonald’s.

A team of eight costs £65 and includes a drink on arrival, ploughman’s dinner, entry into a prize draw to win a P&O Ferry ticket, and bottle of wine for the team.
